According to Главком: A 24-year-old girl suspected of committing a terrorist act has been arrested in Kyiv. She blew up a National Guard soldier's car while carrying out instructions from Russian special services for a reward of 1,500 dollars. The incident occurred on October 3, 2023, around 10:30 am. The explosion took place near a residential building on Heroes of Dnipro Street, causing the soldier to sustain injuries.

Circumstances of the Case

During the inspection of the crime scene, law enforcement officers found a mobile phone intended for online broadcasting. The arrested individual, who is a resident of Kyiv, manufactured the explosive at home. She is suspected of committing a terrorist act under Part 1 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction for this article provides for punishment of up to ten years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Furthermore, she is also suspected of setting fire to a military vehicle in December 2022. It is worth noting that on January 4, 2023, an SUV exploded in the Obolon district, which may indicate her involvement in similar crimes. Law enforcement continues the investigation to clarify all circumstances of the case.

This incident underscores the serious threat of terrorism in Ukraine, especially in the context of the armed conflict with Russia.
