According to Главком: In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained two men suspected of stealing valuables worth over 250 thousand hryvnias from the apartment of a local resident. The detention took place in the Svyatoshynskyi district, where the men, aged 30 and 42, were caught as a result of a pre-trial investigation concerning a group of individuals committing burglaries.

According to the information, one of the detainees already had a criminal record and had previously been held accountable for criminal activities. The detention was carried out in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Both detainees have been notified of suspicion under part 4 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for a punishment of up to eight years in prison.

The court has already chosen a preventive measure in the form of custody. The pre-trial investigation has been completed, and law enforcement continues to work on all aspects of this case, including identifying the organizer of the criminal group, who turned out to be a 52-year-old local resident.
