In New York, a man shot at people and then committed suicide

According to glavcom.ua: On Monday, July 28, in downtown Manhattan, New York, an unknown individual opened fire, injured people, and then committed suicide. This information was reported by ABC News.

According to the network, the shooting occurred at an office building on Park Avenue. The assailant shot a police officer, and it is also reported that four people were shot (the officer died in the hospital), while six others were injured.

According to ABC News, the suspect carried out his act in the building located at 345 Park Avenue. The attacker's body was found on the 33rd floor. According to the NYT, the shooter turned out to be 27-year-old Shane Tamara.

New York Mayor Eric Adams urged residents to avoid the area due to an 'active investigation of the shooting incident'. People were also advised to take care of themselves and avoid certain streets in the vicinity of East 52nd Street.

On the same day, an assailant was arrested in Nevada near a casino, as a result of a shooting that left two people dead and three others injured. All the injured received medical assistance.

In both cases, the police are conducting investigations to determine all the circumstances surrounding the incidents.
