According to glavcom.ua: An earthquake measuring 5.5 occurred in central Pakistan. This is reported by 'Glavkom' citing Reuters.

According to the German Research Center for Geosciences, an earthquake measuring 5.5 (GFZ) was recorded in central Pakistan on the night of June 29. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reports that the epicenter was located approximately 149 km west of the city of Multan.

The natural disaster was shallow - the focus was at a depth of 10 km. Information on damages or casualties is currently being clarified.

Other earthquakes in the region

It should be noted that Iran reported earthquakes measuring 5.2 registered in the capital Tehran and in Qom province. The Qom province hosts the fortified nuclear facility Fordo, which, according to media, is one of the potential targets of Israel. It is reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of approximately 10 km.

By the way, on the night of June 3, an earthquake measuring 5.8 occurred in the Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Turkey, reported the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD). The epicenter was located 10.43 km from the city.
