The tragedy of two brothers in Poland: Robinson R44 helicopter crashed due to thick fog

A plane crash occurred in the Polish village of Cierpis, resulting in the death of two brothers. The four-seat Robinson R44 helicopter, which carried the passengers, crashed. According to preliminary data, one possible cause of the crash could be the weather conditions - at the time of the fall, thick fog prevailed in the region, significantly complicating visibility.

According to the prosecutor's office, the helicopter took off from Krosno and headed to Przeworsk. However, on the way, it changed course, began to lose altitude, and around 15:35, it crashed in a wooded area. Reports of the accident came in at 15:50, and rescue services arrived at the scene within 17 minutes.

During the search and rescue operations, burning wreckage of the helicopter and the bodies of the deceased were found. An investigation is underway, and initial data indicates that before the accident, the helicopter had successfully passed a technical inspection by a specialized company.
