Russian drones invaded Polish airspace

According to hvylya.net: On the night of September 10, more than 20 Russian drones penetrated Polish airspace. According to the Rzeczpospolita publication, this occurred during the largest attack on Polish airspace in recent years.

According to sources, the number of airspace violations exceeded the official figures confirmed by the Prime Minister of Poland. A total of over 20 unmanned aerial vehicles were recorded, among which were drones of the 'Shahed' model.

There was mention of the involvement of Dutch F-35 fighters, German Patriot missile systems, and Polish helicopters in the engagement with Russian drones.

Poland appeals to NATO

After the Russian drone attack on Polish airspace, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced an appeal to NATO allies for consultations under Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty. This happened during the highest tensions between Poland and Russia in recent years.

Tusk emphasized the need for support from allies in confronting Russia's provocations.

Although there is currently no official assessment of the situation as war, the Prime Minister acknowledged that the Russian drone attack poses a serious threat to Poland.

Poland has witnessed the largest attack on its airspace in recent years, when more than 20 Russian drones invaded its skies. The Prime Minister of Poland has already reached out to NATO for support in confronting this threat, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.
