Landslide in Sudan Claims the Lives of Over 1000 People: Only One Person Survived

According to glavcom.ua: A terrible tragedy occurred in Sudan – a landslide claimed the lives of at least 1,000 people, with only one person surviving. This happened after heavy rains in the Marra Mountains region in the west of the country. The movement that controls this area has called for help from the UN and international humanitarian organizations to transport the bodies of the deceased.

Representatives of the movement reported that the village was completely destroyed by the powerful landslide. Residents of this area sought refuge in the mountainous region, fleeing from military actions in their native land. This area was already facing a shortage of food and medicine, but now they are confronted with new unspeakable trials.
