Ukrainian Citizens Freed in Venezuela

According to МЗС: Three Ukrainian citizens who were being held unlawfully in Venezuela have been released. According to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, their freedom was secured through a coordinated operation by Ukrainian diplomats, with support from the United States and European partners. The individuals are now safe and are en route to be reunited with their families. This incident highlights the ongoing challenges Ukrainians can face abroad, even during times of conflict at home.

Protecting Ukrainian Citizens Abroad

Safeguarding the rights and interests of Ukrainian citizens overseas remains a top priority for Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Andrii Sybiha emphasized that the Ukrainian state is exerting every effort to ensure its citizens, wherever they are located, feel supported and protected.
