Ukrainian attack on facilities near Voronezh on the night of August 16-17 successfully struck important elements of air defense. Satellite images confirmed damage to the 'Baltimore' airfield and the 108th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the RF, located nearby. This information was published by 'Glavkom' citing 'CyberBorosno'.

According to satellite images, during the attack two radars were damaged, which are part of the S-300PM2 surface-to-air missile system – the 76N6 radar station and the 30N6 radar, responsible for detecting and guiding targets in the air.

It is also possible that two Su-24 aircraft located at the airfield were affected.

Incidents in Voronezh

On the night of July 17, at least four explosions occurred in Voronezh. Eyewitnesses report that the city was attacked by drones. This was reported by the publication 'Glavkom' citing Shot.

Local residents told that in one of the districts of the city, they heard four explosions that caused damage to windows and visible flashes in the sky.

As a result of the Ukrainian attack on facilities near Voronezh using missiles, key elements of the air defense were damaged, and possibly aircraft of the Russian Federation were affected. An incident with four explosions occurred in Voronezh, where preliminary data suggests that the facilities were attacked by drones.
