Russian troops are advancing on Zaporizhzhia: threat to Huliaipole and a new gray zone

According to glavcom.ua: The situation in the Zaporizhzhia region has escalated, particularly in the area between the settlements of Solodke, Novomykolaivka, Rivnopillia, Nove, and Novouspenivske. According to DeepState, the gray zone here has significantly increased as the enemy ramps up its presence and activity along this line, reports 'Glavkom'.

It is reported that Russian troops have managed to completely capture Uspenivka. Currently, information regarding the possible occupation of the settlements of Solodke and Pryvilne is also being verified. The enemy continues to exert constant pressure on Nove and Novouspenivske, as well as gradually enveloping Rivnopillia.

'The occupation of Rivnopillia opens operational space from the north to the city itself and complicates the position in Zelenyi Hai and Vysokyi (Chervonii),' DeepState explained.

Throughout the entire time of the full-scale war, Huliaipole has remained impregnable despite multiple attempts by the enemy to break through, particularly from the direction of Marfopil. However, the loss of Rivnopillia may complicate the defense of this important settlement.

Russian Troops and the Situation in Pokrovsk

Russian troops attacked a car in which journalist of the Austrian television channel ORF, Kristian Vershuyt, and a group of volunteers were traveling. Their route led to Kostiantynivka along with representatives of the humanitarian organization 'Proliska', which is involved in the evacuation of civilians from frontline zones. The car also contained his Spanish colleague and a filming crew.

It is also worth noting that Russian troops are approaching the final capture of the eastern Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk. Fighting in the city has intensified after the breakthrough of Russian units through the Ukrainian defense. While Moscow reports encirclement, Kyiv notes that hostilities continue and the situation on the ground is assessed as complicated.
