Three popular bus routes in Zaporizhzhia will be shortened from August 15

Starting Saturday, August 15, the routes of buses No. 71, No. 80, and No. 94 in Zaporizhzhia will temporarily change. They will no longer reach the shopping centers 'Epicenter' and Metro, and will end their routes at the 'Simferopol Highway' stop. This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia City Council.

How buses No. 71, No. 80, and No. 94 will operate in Zaporizhzhia from August 15

The changes concern three routes that the city's residents used to travel to large shopping centers:

• bus No. 71 'Zaporizhzhia Square – Epicenter Shopping Center' will only operate up to the 'Simferopol Highway' stop;
• bus No. 80 'Metro Shopping Center – River Port' will also end its route at 'Simferopol Highway';
• bus No. 94 'Bohdan Zavada Street – Epicenter Shopping Center' will turn at the 'Simferopol Highway' stop.

Thus, passengers will not be able to reach the final stops near the shopping centers without transferring buses.

Passengers are asked to consider the changes

The shortened scheme will take effect on August 15. The city council did not specify how long the temporary restrictions would last and when the buses would return to their full routes.

Zaporizhzhia residents who regularly use buses No. 71, No. 80, and No. 94 are advised to plan their trips in advance and consider the new final stops.

Previously, the route of six bus routes heading towards the Khortytsia district was also changed in Zaporizhzhia. The reason was ongoing repair work.

It should be noted that in Zaporizhzhia, due to repair work, the operation of trolleybuses No. 8 and No. 14 was temporarily restricted. They do not run on the section between the 'Bus Station' and 'Simferopol Highway' stops, and passengers are being transported along modified routes. The restrictions took effect at 5:00 AM on August 3.
