Due to the Russian attack, the Odesa – Reni road is closed: how to get to the border now

According to Міністерство інфраструктури: Delays on the Odesa to Reni highway occurred due to an attack near Maikiv. Traffic is currently suspended, making travel to the western part of the Odesa region difficult.

Authorities are working on alternative transportation options in the region, collaborating with the competent authorities of Moldova to redirect vehicles to other checkpoints.

Temporarily, traffic to various checkpoints has been halted, but there are alternative routes for trucks and buses through Chernivtsi and Vinnytsia regions.

Trucks must make changes to their customs declarations and register for departure, while passenger carriers must choose the appropriate checkpoint during registration. Information regarding the operations of the checkpoints can be found on the websites of the State Border Service and the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

As a result of the attack near Maikiv, traffic on the Odesa – Reni highway is temporarily halted. The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development is working to ensure alternative transportation in the region, collaborating with Moldova. Currently, traffic is blocked to various checkpoints, but alternative paths through Chernivtsi and Vinnytsia regions are available for trucks and buses.
