Uklon's Night Taxi Service Expansion

According to Главком: Beginning February 7, the Uklon taxi service is launching a new night taxi option in seven Ukrainian cities: Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv. Uklon already operates 24/7 in 26 cities across Ukraine, providing crucial mobility for passengers during challenging times. This expansion is part of the company's response to the ongoing energy crisis in the country.

To use a taxi during the nationwide curfew, passengers must possess a special permit. The sole exception is in Kyiv, where a permit is not required if the passenger is traveling to an official resilience point, heating station, or communication hub. This policy is based on a Ukrainian government decree and presidential directives aimed at mitigating the impact of the energy emergency.

Discounts and Essential Mobility

Uklon is also offering a discount for night trips from Kyiv's main railway station to passengers' homes. The promotional code is valid from 11:15 PM to 5:00 AM. The company emphasizes that in the current energy crisis, mobility is vital not just for comfort but for reaching essential locations like resilience points, heating stations, and communication centers.

Uklon's goal is to ensure safe and convenient transportation for its passengers during this difficult period.

The launch of the night taxi service demonstrates Uklon's adaptation to the new realities caused by Ukraine's energy crisis. Ensuring mobility during critical situations, such as the curfew, is a key step in supporting city residents who face difficulties accessing necessary services and resources. The night taxi, combined with discounts, provides an opportunity for safe travel and improves access to life-sustaining locations.
