Ukraine Offers to Share Next-Generation Warfare Experience with the West
Ukraine Ready to Share Combat Know-How and Tech
According to Главком: Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated in an interview with the British outlet The Times that his country is prepared to share its experience with next-generation warfare and military technologies with Western allies. He emphasized that Ukraine is transitioning from being solely a recipient of military aid to becoming an exporter of both technology and battlefield expertise. This shift has been driven by the rapid growth of Ukraine’s defense-tech sector during the full-scale war.
Budanov highlighted a key inefficiency: Western nations often use expensive missiles to intercept low-cost drones. He pointed out that missile production can take years, whereas drones can be assembled in just days. Ukraine is ready to assist allies in building multi-layered defense systems to address this imbalance.
“We are developing much faster because we are at war… we can share this knowledge,” Kyrylo Budanov stressed.
Defense and Security Collaboration
In addition, he previously discussed efforts to integrate artificial intelligence into combat drones.
“Ukraine will gladly lend a helping hand. If it’s not needed, no one will force it,” he added.
These initiatives signal Ukraine’s willingness to actively cooperate with international partners on defense and security matters.
This announcement reflects a strategic shift in Ukraine’s approach to military assistance, which could reshape defense alliances. Given the pressing challenges many countries face, transferring technology and knowledge may become a cornerstone of global security cooperation. Ukraine’s advances in the defense-tech sector also stand to bolster its standing on the world stage as a key player in defense innovation.
As Ukraine positions itself as a leader in defense technology, the rapid adoption of Ukrainian military innovations by the U.S. and Europe underscores the growing importance of collaborative efforts in modern warfare. This shift not only enhances Ukraine's role on the global stage but also offers valuable insights into efficient defense strategies, making it crucial for allies to stay informed about these developments.
