Ukraine buys record electric vehicles: which models became leaders in August

The Ukrainian vehicle fleet continues to actively replenish with electric cars. According to Ukravtoprom, more than 7.9 thousand battery-powered vehicles appeared in Ukraine in August this year. This is 13% more than in July.In particular, this statistics includes 7770 passenger electric vehicles, of which 1888 were brand new, while 5882 were used. Also, in August, 175 commercial electric vehicles were sold, only 24 of which were new. The TOP-5 new electric vehicles are led by BYD Song Plus EV, Volkswagen ID.UNYX, Honda eNS1, BYD Sea Lion 07, and Audi Q4 e-tron. Among imported electric vehicles, the most popular used models are Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model 3, Nissan Leaf, KIA Niro EV, and Renault Zoe.
