The Ukrainian national team in weightlifting won 135 medals at the World Championship

The Ukrainian national team in weightlifting claimed victory at the World Championship in the Polish city of Kalisz. Our athletes won an impressive number of medals - 112 gold, 12 silver, and 11 bronze, becoming one of the most successful teams in the history of participation in such competitions.

The Ukrainian athletes competed against 27 countries, fighting alongside 500 participants. The Ukrainian team also placed 10th in the overall medal standings at the European Youth Olympic Festival, demonstrating impressive results.

Our athletes demonstrated extraordinary achievements, winning 135 medals, which is the second-best performance at the festivals in the entire history of Ukraine. This success deserves special attention and recognition!

The Ukrainian athletes shone in various sports, including judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis, showcasing their professionalism and dedication.
