Ukraine blew up gas pipeline in Western Siberia, - Bloomberg
According to hvylya.net: Ukraine destroyed a gas pipeline in Western Siberia that supplied natural gas to Russia. According to information from Bloomberg, this special operation was successful - the main pipeline, which provided gas to Russian military facilities in three regions of the country, was destroyed. This pipeline had a capacity of 2.6 billion cubic meters per year.
The explosion occurred near Khanty-Mansiysk, not far from Moscow. The pipeline supplied natural gas to military manufacturing enterprises in three regions far from the explosion site in Russia.
According to Bloomberg, this information could not be independently verified. The 'Gazprom' department did not respond to requests for comments.
The attack on the gas pipeline occurred during Russian airstrikes on Kyiv
The special operation to destroy the gas pipeline took place against the backdrop of large-scale airstrikes by the Russian Federation on the Ukrainian capital and other cities in Ukraine. During these attacks, two people were killed and another 28 were injured. The President of Ukraine called the attack an escalation of terrorist actions by the Russian Federation.
In addition, besides the destruction of the gas pipeline, Ukraine has already conducted a series of attacks on Russian energy infrastructure aimed at disrupting the operation of oil refineries and limiting fuel supplies. Russia, in turn, also recently attacked Kyiv using drones and missiles.
The conflict between Ukraine and Russia continues to escalate, as evidenced by new attacks on gas pipelines and airstrikes. The struggle for control over energy resources is becoming increasingly tense, and the conflict shows no signs of abating.
