Ukraine Returned the Bodies of Thousands of Fallen Soldiers
According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine returned the bodies of 1000 fallen soldiers as a result of repatriation efforts. This was reported by the news agency

, citing the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Military Personnel.
According to the coordination headquarters, the Russian side confirmed that the bodies belong to citizens of Ukraine. Law enforcement agencies conducted all necessary examinations and identifications of the repatriated bodies.
During the repatriation process, two bodies were identified with personal military dog tags of the armed forces of the Russian Federation. Some bodies handed over to the Ukrainian side had Russian passports, despite their owners being citizens of Ukraine.
Ukraine is actively working on the identification and return of the fallen soldiers' bodies, following humanitarian principles in the treatment of those who died during military operations.
