According to НОК: Ukraine has achieved an important victory in the boxing world - the country has become a full member of World Boxing! The news was announced during the World Boxing Congress 2025 held in Rome, Italy. Furthermore, a well-known Ukrainian boxer - Gennady Golovkin - was elected as the president of World Boxing.
World Boxing is an international organization that was created to regulate amateur boxing and support its status as an Olympic sport. This organization unites national federations to ensure transparent governance and compliance with the requirements of the Olympic movement.
