According to hvylya.net: The evacuation of museum items from the frontline regions of Ukraine is gaining momentum. According to the Acting Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications, Tetiana Berezhna, over 670 thousand valuable exhibits have been transported by September 2025. This is an impressive figure that indicates the scale of the operation.
According to Berezhna, about 100 thousand museum items have been evacuated this year alone, which requires considerable effort and clear coordination. The Minister also noted that Ukraine needs systemic international support in combating the losses inflicted by Russia. To this end, the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Fund is being established, inviting international partners.
It is evident that preserving the unique cultural heritage of Ukraine requires joint efforts and support from the international community. We hope that the creation of the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Fund will contribute not only to the preservation of valuable exhibits but also to their further popularization and study.
