Ukraine will return 1200 defenders from captivity: details of the large-scale exchange

According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian authorities managed to negotiate a prisoner exchange with Russia. With the support of Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, more than 1200 Ukrainians will be returned home. This joyful news was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov, after consultations on behalf of President Zelensky.

According to the agreements reached, Ukrainians who were in captivity will soon have the opportunity to celebrate the New Year and Christmas with their loved ones. Technical consultations are planned to resolve all the nuances of the exchange.

In addition, the Coordination Headquarters warned about the activity of Russian special services, which are trying to obtain intelligence information from the relatives of the captured soldiers and carry out various information-psychological operations.
