Creation of the Investment Fund between Ukraine and the USA

Ukraine and the USA have announced the creation of an investment fund aimed at the efficient use of the country's natural resources. It is estimated that Ukraine has over 111 billion tons of natural resources, with a total value of approximately 14.8 trillion dollars. As part of this initiative, the USA and Ukraine signed an agreement on natural resources in 2025.

Donetsk region and its resources

The Donetsk region is a key area where the largest reserves of natural resources are concentrated. The value of these reserves is estimated at approximately 3.8 trillion dollars. The main components of the value of the reserves are:

  • coal - about 62%
  • iron ore - 14% of the total value of the reserves

In addition, Ukraine is expected to have about 3000 tons of gold.

The agreement signed between the USA and Ukraine provides for the creation of a Reconstruction Investment Fund, where management will be split evenly: 50% for Ukraine and 50% for the USA. This partnership aims not only to optimize the extraction of natural resources but also to contribute to the economic development of Ukraine through attracting investments and technologies.

The establishment of an investment fund between Ukraine and the USA is an important step towards enhancing the economic stability and development of the country. This agreement may contribute not only to improving the extraction infrastructure but also to attracting international investments, which in turn will positively impact the socio-economic situation in Ukraine. The partnership with the USA may also become an important element in setting new standards in the field of natural resource management and ecology.
