According to hvylya.net: The Swiss have decided to help Ukraine with the restoration of the housing sector and railway infrastructure. A meeting with the Delegate of the Federal Council of Switzerland for Ukraine, Ambassador Jacques Gerber, has already determined specific projects for which 76 million Swiss francs have been allocated.
In particular, the creation of a new factory in Kremenchuk for the production of fasteners for European gauge and the production of contact wires for railways is planned. In the housing construction sector, the construction of modular houses for military personnel in Vinnytsia and Sumy regions is foreseen, as well as the replacement of windows in damaged houses in Kharkiv and other regions near the front line.
It is planned to start work on the implementation of the projects as early as October, thanks to their inclusion in the Single Project Portfolio. In addition, cooperation between Ukraine and Switzerland may expand through the involvement of Swiss grants for partnerships in the field of public-private partnerships.
