According to hvylya.net: The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority has announced that navigation has been restored through the Bistre river mouth canal, which connects the Danube river and the Black Sea.
'Navigation is permitted for vessels with a draft of up to 4.5 meters, with a mandatory pilot and exclusively during daylight hours. Restoration work was carried out with the participation of various services, including the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which conducted depth measurements and mine-sweeping checks in the area of the damaged dredger 'Ingulskyi'', - the statement notes.
According to information from the administration, a check of the technical condition of the canal was also conducted, and safe navigation was organized in accordance with legislative requirements.
The renewed ability to use the Bistre river mouth canal for navigation will open new opportunities for cargo transport and increase trade volumes between the Danube river and the Black Sea.
