According to ХВИЛЯ: Volodymyr Zelensky published an extended report on the nighttime operation against Novorossiysk, in which 14 types of Ukrainian long-range weapons were coordinated for the first time. According to him, the frigates "Admiral Essen" and "Admiral Makarov", a large landing ship, a corvette, and other vessels were hit. This list is broader than the one previously provided by the General Staff and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

Zelensky reported that various types of weapons were involved in the operation, including:

According to Zelensky's data, other Russian facilities operating to fund the war were also hit. The General Staff had previously reported on four damaged ships: the two mentioned frigates, a small missile ship of project 21631, and the patrol ship "Vasyl Bykov". Meanwhile, the SBU confirmed information about three damaged ships. It is noted that the General Staff and SBU reports did not mention the large landing ship and the corvette.

Priorities for the Near Future

Zelensky also discussed priorities for the near future with the Minister of Defense, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Commander of the Drone Forces, and representatives of the SBU. He emphasized:

"We will also encourage Russia towards peace with the further use of our long-range and medium-range sanctions" - Volodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier, sources in the SBU reported that the frigate "Admiral Essen" was put out of action following a March attack on Novorossiysk, and SBU drones hit seven ships of the shadow fleet of the Russian Federation in one night.

The operation against Novorossiysk became an important step in Ukraine’s efforts to strengthen military presence in the Black Sea and undermine the enemy's resources.
