Ukraine has deployed new Flamingo missiles: what makes them dangerous for the Russian Federation
The Ukrainian army is currently using 'Flamingo' missiles to strike targets in Russia. These missiles have high technical specifications that allow them to be precise and avoid detection during flight. Moreover, they are manufactured using old Soviet parts, which reduces production costs.
While the 'Flamingo' missiles are not cheap, they are more effective and accessible than American Tomahawk missiles. The use of drones also contributes to coordinating strikes. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the beginning of mass production of these missiles starting from December this year.
As reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky, mass production of 'Flamingo' missiles will start from December to February, and it has already undergone successful testing.
Recently, 'Flamingo' missiles were used to strike targets in Crimea, which is currently occupied by Russia. The main target is the base of Russian border guards in Crimea, controlled by the Federal Security Service of Russia.
Reports of the Ukrainian military using 'Flamingo' missiles to strike targets in Russia indicate the application of cutting-edge technologies in the Ukrainian armed forces and strengthening the country's defense capabilities. These actions are aimed at protecting Ukraine's sovereignty and compensating for losses from Russian aggression.
