Food prices in Ukraine have been rising steadily over the past year. Particularly striking is how prices for eggs, meat, and dairy products are soaring. At the same time, vegetables are experiencing a slight price drop.
The most significant increase has been recorded in eggs - the cost of a dozen has risen from 35.3 to 54.2 hryvnias, which is an increase of 53.6%. It's also worth noting the rise in prices for apples, pork, chicken fillet, and other products.
This price increase is explained by various factors such as production and transportation costs, as well as seasonal changes. Speculations about the future have already begun - it may be worth considering stockpiling some goods ahead of time.
