Consular institutions of Ukraine - embassies and consulates, where processing is done by appointment on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The cost of processing is determined by the consular fee, which in 2025 is 30-50 euros depending on the country of stay.

DP 'Document' centers - specialized units of the state enterprise located in various European countries. The processing time in these centers may take up to 3 months.

Opportunities and cost of processing in 2025

In 2025, the cost of passport forms increased, leading to a rise in the overall service cost. New prices for processing:

• Standard processing (up to 20 working days) - 1042 hryvnias in Ukraine
• Urgent processing (up to 7 working days) - 1682 hryvnias in Ukraine
• At DP 'Document' centers abroad - processing time may take up to 3 months

Features for military conscripts

Special rules apply to men aged 18 to 60:

Men who submitted an application by April 24, 2024 can register for military service remotely. Men applying after April 24, 2024 will undergo military registration status verification through the electronic system 'Oberih'.

The basic set of documents for obtaining a passport includes an application form, a Ukrainian citizen passport, a previous foreign passport, proof of residence registration, and for men aged 18-60 - an electronic military registration document.

Production times and conditions for obtaining

A foreign passport is issued for 4 or 10 years, depending on the age of the person. The passport can only be received in person, and it is necessary to have an internal passport. In the event of loss of a previous passport abroad, a certificate from the local police must be available.
