Ukrainians officiate the Conference League match
According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian referees will join the return match of the second qualifying round of the Conference League. This is reported by 'Hlavkom' referring to the UAF.
Our referees will be in charge of the game between 'Istanbul Basaksehir' (Turkey) and 'Cherno More' (Bulgaria), which will take place today, July 31, in Istanbul.
The main referee is Viktor Kopyevskyi. Semen Shlonchak and Vitalii Skoblia will assist on the lines. Klyma Zabroda has been appointed as the fourth official.
A draw for the third qualifying round of the Conference League for the 2025/2026 season was also held in Nyon, Switzerland.
Potential rivals for Ukrainian teams
The following matches are possible in the third round:
- Oleksandriia - Partizan (Serbia) or Midtjylland (Denmark) - Hibernian (Scotland)
- Polissia - Santa Coloma (Andorra) or Paksi FC (Hungary) - Maribor (Slovenia)
- St Patrick's (Ireland) - Nomme Kalju (Estonia) or Beşiktaş (Turkey) - Shakhtar (Ukraine)
The matches of the third qualifying round will take place on August 7 and 14. The winners will continue the competition in the playoffs, while the losers will end their participation in the European cups.
Ukrainian referees will participate in the return match of the Conference League, which indicates trust in their professionalism on the international stage.
