The Ukrainian boxing team won 20 medals at the European Championship: all winners

The successes of the Ukrainian boxing team at the U15 European Championship are impressive - 20 medals and second place in the team standings! Vladyslav Vasylevych, Ismail Ismaylov, Veronika Holub, Alina Ihnatovich, Yeva Kubanova, and Vira Vasylenko won gold medals, while our other athletes did not lag behind: David Horvat, Kostiantyn Slipchuk, Mark Faniyan, Davyd Yuldashev, Serhiy Kotovskyi, Viktoriya Amelchenko, and Tetiana Zvenyhorodska became silver medalists, and Oleksandr Tomych, Artem Pikhur, Ilona Zhezhera, Sofia Solovyeva, Alina Papashvili, Sofia Kucheryuk, and Daria Melnyk won bronze medals.

At the same time, the Council of the International Ski Federation (FIS) refused to allow Russians and Belarusians to compete in Olympic qualifying events. The decision was made with a ban on athletes from Russia and Belarus participating in qualifying competitions for the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
