Energy Loan Portfolio Status

As of the end of May 2026, the gross energy loan portfolio for legal entities stood at UAH 30.5 billion, while the portfolio for individuals reached UAH 2.6 billion. These figures reflect the strong involvement of banks in financing energy-related initiatives in Ukraine.

This data highlights how crucial banking support is for advancing Ukraine’s energy sector, particularly amid recovery efforts following crisis situations. The active role of banks in funding energy infrastructure development and modernization projects can help ensure a more stable power supply and drive economic growth across various regions.

In light of the significant financial support for energy projects, it's worth noting that businesses can now access substantial state loans for on-site energy generation. This initiative aims to bolster the energy sector further and facilitate sustainable practices.
