Ukrainian Trubin ranks in the top 3 highest-paid footballers in Portugal
Ukrainian goalkeeper of Lisbon's «Benfica» Anatoliy Trubin has become the second in the ranking of the highest-paid players in the Portuguese championship. The data was published by the statistical portal Transfermarkt, which forms an annual list of the highest-paid footballers in the country. This is reported by Ukrainian Football.
How much does Trubin earn at «Benfica»
According to Transfermarkt, 24-year-old Trubin earns about 3.85 million euros a year before taxes. He is surpassed only by «Sporting» player Francisco Trincao, whose annual income is estimated at 3.9 million euros. Thus, the Ukrainian has become one of the highest-paid goalkeepers in the history of the Portuguese league.
Midfielder «Benfica» Georgiy Sudakov, who joined the club in the summer, did not make it to the top 10 ranking, but earns about 1.92 million euros a year, which is also a high figure for a newcomer to the championship.
How Ukrainians perform in Portugal
In the current season, Trubin has played 15 matches, in which he conceded ten times and kept the goal “clean” eight times.For the Ukrainian national team, he has played 24 matches, conceding 32 goals and keeping six «clean» sheets.
Sudakov, who is just beginning to adapt to Portuguese football, already has two goals and two assists in 10 matches for «eagles». In the national team, he scored four goals and provided six assists in 32 matches.
