According to Главком: Units from Ukraine's Defense Forces have successfully hit the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery located in Russia's Perm Krai. The target sits more than 1,500 kilometers from the frontline. Explosions and a fire were recorded at the facility, with flames erupting at an isomerization unit-used to boost the octane rating of light gasoline fractions-as well as at the primary crude processing unit AVT-2.
Repeated Drone Strikes and Their Fallout
This strategic oil industry site in Perm was not hit once but twice by drone attacks. A strike also targeted the Perm linear production and dispatch station. Commander Robert Brovdi (call sign Madyar) of the Unmanned Systems Forces confirmed the operation's success, stating that
“the Russian Urals, which the occupiers long considered a safe deep rear area, are now officially in line for demilitarization.”
