AI-Powered Test Generator Now Active

According to Главком: The Ukrainian state educational platform 'Mriya' has launched its first artificial intelligence feature: a test generator. This tool enables teachers to create and review assignments, significantly streamlining the preparation of tests and homework. The function is already available to educators in 150 pilot schools, who have used it to generate over 4,000 tasks.

In the near future, the test generator will be rolled out to an additional 500 schools, with plans to eventually extend access to all institutions connected to 'Mriya'. The updated 'Mriya' app was introduced in 2024, with the first 40 schools joining at its launch on September 2, 2024. The platform already has 100,000 users across Ukraine, and the goal is to connect 2,000 more educational institutions by 2025.

Ensuring Quality and Innovation

To ensure the quality of generated content, the system has been loaded with over 1.3 million textbooks, containing 300,000 pages of material across 30 subjects. The Ministry of Digital Transformation notes that 'the tool allows for the creation of unique tasks for tests or homework in a matter of minutes.' After students complete assignments, the AI analyzes the answers and suggests a grade, which the teacher can then confirm or adjust. The Ministry also highlighted an anti-cheating feature: it is impossible to take screenshots or copy text while taking a test within the app.

The AI functionality in 'Mriya' currently includes the test generator and assignment review. Beyond this, the platform offers features like a daily planner, gradebooks, a grading constructor, progress tracking, chat functions, and the personalized content library Mriya ID. This initiative is part of a broader digital transformation in Ukrainian education, aiming to modernize teaching tools and reduce administrative burdens on educators.

The launch of the test generator in 'Mriya' represents a significant step toward modernizing educational processes in Ukraine.

By integrating artificial intelligence into the educational ecosystem, teachers gain the ability to prepare materials more quickly and effectively, while students receive more tailored and individualized tasks. This development has the potential to positively impact educational quality and increase student motivation.
