According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukrainian military units recently delivered approximately 4,000 kilograms of essential food supplies to the occupied city of Oleshky using drones. The aid was strategically distributed to 100 designated points throughout the city. Several units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine collaborated on this operation, including:

• Grim Tactical Group
• 34th Marine Brigade "Borysfen"
• Bolgarychi Unit of the 11th National Guard Brigade
• 34th National Guard Regiment
• 79th Border Unit

Human Rights Concerns in Oleshky

Alexander Prokudin, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian military, revealed that around 2,000 hostages are being held by Russian forces in occupied Oleshky, including nearly fifty children. He emphasized that these civilians are forced to survive without basic necessities such as food, electricity, and water. Most alarmingly, they are effectively barred from leaving this dire situation.

Since March, humanitarian aid deliveries via drones have been systematically carried out by the 11th National Guard Brigade and the 34th Marine Brigade "Borysfen".

Despite these efforts, Russian troops have actively interfered with the aid operations. Drones carrying supplies are being shot down, and food intended for vulnerable groups like children and the elderly is either confiscated or sold illegally. Prokudin added that occupiers attempt to sabotage aid distribution by detaining residents who receive packages, subjecting them to imprisonment, beatings, and various forms of abuse.

He characterized this deliberate obstruction and the resulting starvation as war crimes with no statute of limitations, warning that all responsible parties will be held accountable.

This operation ranks among the largest humanitarian efforts conducted by Ukrainian forces within occupied territories. Earlier reports highlighted drone strikes that disrupted supply lines to occupied Crimea, targeting over 100 objectives within 48 hours, including an FSB base in the Kherson region.
