Ukraine is preparing for changes in the payment system for its military. Amid the ongoing war, issues with mobilization, and the loss of motivation, the Ukrainian government is considering the possibility of revising the payment system for servicemen - both contract bonuses and salaries. President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Ukraine will turn to Western partners for financing these changes. He emphasized the importance of human resources being the most valuable asset for defense at this time.In particular, the government is discussing the possibility of allocating 25 billion dollars a year for military salaries, the development of drone production, and electronic warfare. Zelensky has held a series of negotiations with European and American countries to discuss these plans. Additionally, Ukraine is also planning to develop its military industry, particularly to launch mass production of interceptor drones. The United States has already agreed to purchase Ukrainian drones, which could lead to a long-term contract for a significant amount.
