In Ukraine, an atmospheric front will divide: on July 16, rains and heat will come to different regions

According to hvylya.net: The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has published a detailed weather forecast for July 16, which provides for various conditions in different regions of the country. The atmospheric front from Western Europe will be the main factor in the unstable weather in the western regions of Ukraine.

According to meteorologists' forecasts, on July 16, weather conditions will be determined by the influence of two opposing air masses. The western regions will be under the influence of a moderately warm air mass, while the rest of the territory will be under the control of a dry hot mass from the southern latitudes.

The atmospheric front will first affect the western regions, causing unstable weather with fluctuations in pressure and humidity. During the day, the frontal system will expand its influence to Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions.

Precipitation is expected, mainly in the western region. Significant rains are forecasted in Transcarpathia and Prykarpattia. The western regions, as well as Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions will experience short-term rains with local thunderstorms. The wind will predominantly be from the northwest at a speed of 5-10 meters per second.

Temperature regime

Night temperatures will fluctuate between 15-20 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will create a contrasting picture across different regions of Ukraine. The western regions will feel the most comfortable conditions with temperatures of 21-26 degrees, northern regions will warm up to 25-30 degrees. The rest of the territory will be under the influence of intense heat with temperatures of 29-34 degrees. In the south, strong heat is expected in places, up to 35-37 degrees.

Forecast for Kyiv region and the capital

Variable cloudiness will characterize the weather conditions. No precipitation is expected at night, but during the day, short-term rains with thunderstorms are expected. Night temperatures will range from 15-20 degrees, while daytime temperatures will be 25-30 degrees. In Kyiv, night temperatures will be 18-20 degrees, daytime - 27-29 degrees.

The Hydrometeorological Center also pointed out the fire danger, which will be extremely high on July 16-17 in the southern part of the country, most of the central regions, and northern areas.

Forecaster Natalkа Didenko warned about heavy rains and a drop in temperature to 18-22 degrees at the end of the week in Kyiv, which may lead to the exacerbation of cardiovascular diseases.
