According to Главком: According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the weather on May 12 in Ukraine and Kyiv will be mostly cloudy with occasional clear spells, and localized rain is expected. Significant precipitation is forecast for the Transcarpathian region and the Carpathian Mountains. During the day, moderate rain, thunderstorms, and wind gusts of 15–20 m/s are anticipated in the right-bank areas. No precipitation is expected in other parts of the country.

Winds across Ukraine will generally be from the south, blowing at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 8 to 13°C, while daytime highs will reach 18–23°C. In the far western regions, daytime temperatures will be cooler, between 12 and 17°C.

Kyiv Weather Forecast

In Kyiv, May 12 will also bring cloudy skies with some sunny intervals. No rain is expected overnight, but daytime conditions may include rain and thunderstorms. The capital will experience southern winds of 7–12 m/s, with gusts locally reaching 15–20 m/s during the day. Overnight temperatures in Kyiv will be 10–12°C, rising to 20–22°C in the afternoon. A level I (yellow) danger warning has been issued for Kyiv and the surrounding region.
