According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian Railways is moving forward and is preparing to launch innovations in ticket purchasing rules. In particular, from September, the implementation of the BankID identification system in the company’s mobile application is planned. This information was confirmed by the IT director of 'Ukrzaliznytsia', Ernest Klimenko.

According to him, the technical integration is almost complete, and there are already up to 5 million users of the mobile application. Half of them actively use the service.

It is noted that each request to BankID will cost from 3 to 5 hryvnias, however, the company is considering the possibility of reducing these costs.

In order to prevent scandalous situations related to tickets, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' has strengthened document control when boarding trains. As a result, 300 trains and over 41,000 documents were checked, with dozens of individuals being denied travel.

Changes in the format of the trial identity verification when purchasing tickets through the company's application have also been announced. This procedure will only be available on certain routes, in particular, domestic routes No. 29/30 Kyiv – Uzhhorod, No. 12 Lviv – Odesa, and No. 27/28 Kyiv – Chop.

Furthermore, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' has decided to implement dynamic pricing for passenger transportation due to losses in this sector. The new rules and initiatives are expected to promote greater efficiency and convenience for passengers of Ukrainian railways.

Ukrzaliznytsia is preparing to launch the BankID identification system in its mobile application, as well as implementing new document control and pricing rules for passenger transportation.
