Ukraine U-18 Youth Team Lost to Croatia: Injury and Dismissal in the Match
The Ukraine U-18 football team participated in an international friendly tournament in Croatia. The match between Ukraine and Croatia ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the hosts.
Unfortunately, the end of the half was overshadowed by an unpleasant event for the Ukrainian team. Croatian midfielder Kresimir Rados committed a very rough tackle against Yllya Kutyia in the midfield, and our compatriot was injured. He had to be evacuated by ambulance to the hospital.
In the next match on October 11, the Ukrainian team will play against Wales. Afterwards, the young footballers will face the Sweden national team on October 14. Let us remind you that in previous matches, Ukraine drew with Azerbaijan and lost to France with a score of 0:2 in the qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Cup.
