For the first time in the Carpathians: private land transferred to the state for a nature reserve

According to Мін. Економіки: A unique event in the Carpathians - a private plot of land has been transferred for the first time to the nature reserve fund of Ukraine. On November 18, a ceremonial signing of the transfer act of a plot of 0.62 hectares to the Ministry of Environmental Protection, represented by the Verkhovyna National Nature Park, took place with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, Ihor Zubovych.

This is a historic event for the Ukrainian Carpathians aimed at developing eco-educational initiatives in the region with consideration of inclusivity requirements. The partnership of various organizations and the public in this project opens new perspectives for environmental protection measures in Ukraine.

Partnership for the benefit of nature

The further development of the new territory includes the construction of a camping pavilion, a visitor center, and an inclusive rehabilitation and tourism hub. The project is designed to support people affected by the war and create conditions for comfortable relaxation in the natural environment.
