The government has announced competitions for Naftogaz and Energoatom: who will head the companies

The government has announced competitions for the positions of independent members of the supervisory boards of NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine" and SE "Energoatom". The resolution on this was adopted on November 18, 2025.

The competition for the Supervisory Board of NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine" is scheduled to ensure a stable composition of the board, which has been operating for three years. Four independent candidates will be selected in the competition. Regarding the Supervisory Board of SE "Energoatom", an unscheduled competition was announced after the premature termination of the powers of the previous board.

Thus, the government intends to fill the vacant positions of independent members of the supervisory boards of two key state energy companies.
