The government strengthens control over state-owned enterprises: what will change for Naftogaz and Ukrzaliznytsia

According to Мін. Економіки: The government of Ukraine has decided to increase control over state-owned enterprises. Now, the supervisory boards of such companies as Naftogaz of Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrainian Defense Industry, and Ukrhydroenergo, along with state banks, are to analyze the effectiveness of control, implement anti-corruption measures, and enhance corporate governance.
Additionally, the State Audit Office of Ukraine will prioritize checks on large enterprises. Overall, the state's control over enterprises with state participation in management will be strengthened.
This decision aims to improve the management of the state sector of the economy and enhance the efficiency of enterprise operations.
