Mobilized individuals have received the right to a 3% mortgage: new conditions of the eOselya program
According to Мін. Економіки: The government has expanded the conditions of the affordable mortgage program eOselya to allow mobilized military personnel to take advantage of mortgage loans under new conditions. Now both those who serve under contract and mobilized individuals can obtain a mortgage at an interest rate of 3% per annum - the lowest rate within the program. Over 21,000 Ukrainian families have already taken advantage of this opportunity, with a total amount of issued loans amounting to UAH 37.4 billion, including 6,438 military personnel and veterans.
Key Changes
According to the government's resolution, the interest rate for mobilized military personnel has been lowered, and a maximum housing size has been established for those wishing to take a mortgage through the eOselya program.
Before these changes, only medical workers, educators, scientists, contract military personnel, and law enforcement officers could take a loan for housing at a 3% annual rate. Now, mobilized military personnel have also gained the opportunity to take advantage of these terms. The new regulations also cut the maximum housing area to prevent the purchase of excessively large premises, regardless of the number of family members.
These changes are aimed at supporting mobilized military personnel and ensuring them the opportunity to improve their living conditions through affordable mortgage loans. The new conditions encourage individuals to prioritize serving the defense and security of the country while ensuring stable conditions for their families.
