According to glavcom.ua: The government has improved the procedure for remote inspection of housing in Donbas. Now, satellite images and data from the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be used to assess damage. The technical requirements for photo and video documentation have been significantly simplified, which will ease the process of obtaining compensation for homeowners whose properties were destroyed as a result of military actions.
Legislation also gives internally displaced persons priority for compensation for damaged real estate through the «eRecovery» program. This allows for a faster restoration of housing for those affected by the military events in the east of the country.
