Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that military personnel receiving treatment abroad can now undergo a military-medical commission remotely.
According to him, the government approved the initiative of the Ministry of Defense to launch an experimental project that simplified the medical examination procedure for military personnel receiving treatment abroad due to health issues. Now, military personnel just need to submit their medical documents to their commander for further submission to the commission.
'Based on these documents, the VLC will make a corresponding decision within 10 days. After returning to Ukraine, the military person will not need to undergo the medical examination again,' Shmyhal emphasized.
The Defense Minister announced the possibility for military personnel undergoing treatment abroad to pass the medical commission remotely, which simplified their procedure upon returning to the country.
