Економіки: The Ukrainian government has revised the certification process for organizations that inspect the accuracy of utility meters, including those for water, gas, and electricity. Under the new framework, these inspection bodies must now obtain authorization certificates in accordance with updated requirements and deadlines. This reform is part of broader efforts to modernize Ukraine's utility sector and align its standards with European practices.

The updated procedure outlines specific steps, from application submission to final certification. Authorities will now notify applicants of any document deficiencies within 3 business days. Inspections will be conducted based on 5 defined criteria, and a formal appeals process for inspection results is established. Organizations will have 20 business days to address issues if a certificate is to be revoked, and decisions to deny certification can be appealed within a 6-month period.
