Earthquake in Afghanistan: over 20 dead and more than 100 injured

In August, a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 was recorded near Jalalabad in Afghanistan. This resulted in deaths and injuries. The earthquake occurred in a remote area at 11:47 PM local time on Sunday, at a depth of 8 km.
According to local officials, more than 20 people have died, and over 115 have been injured. Rescue operations are complicated by blocked roads, so they are taking place by air. Volunteers are assisting in hospitals, and helicopters are transporting the injured.
It is also worth noting that at the same time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 struck in Turkey, affecting the Sindirgi district of Balikesir.
