In Odesa, buses replaced electric transport on August 10: routes

On August 10 in Odesa, some of the electric transport routes were replaced by buses that will operate in the mode of a taxi. Passengers will be able to reach key tram and trolleybus directions, but the intervals and departure times will differ from the usual schedule. This is reported by the Odesa City Council.

Buses in Odesa on August 10: which tram routes were replaced

Bus No. 5 will operate between Arkadia and the railway station. The first trips from both ends are scheduled for 07:00, the last ones: at 19:30 from Arkadia and at 20:00 from the station.

On the direction of tram No. 18, buses will connect Kulikove Pole with the 14th station of the Great Fountain. From Kulikove Pole, trips begin at 06:30, from the Fountain: at 07:02. The operation will continue until approximately 19:00-19:30, mostly with a 16-minute interval.

Route No. 21 will operate between Zastava II and Tiraspol Square with an interval of one hour. Bus No. 27 will connect Independence Square with Freedom Avenue: the first trips will depart at 07:00 and 07:30 depending on the final stop.

Alternative routes in Odesa: where to look for replacements for trolleybuses and trams

According to the tram scheme No. 10, a minibus No. 121 will operate from Yitzhak Rabin Street to Tiraspol Square. The declared interval is 10-12 minutes.

Tram route No. 20 from Kherson Square to the Khadjibey Liman will be duplicated by bus No. 20t. It will run once an hour. Instead of trolleybus No. 3 between Zastava I and Shevchenko Park, passengers can use minibus No. 233, which will operate with a 12-15 minute interval.

The city council warns: the published schedule is indicative and may change due to the situation on the roads, delays, or technical malfunctions. Recall that on the night of August 9, Russian troops delivered a massive strike on the Odesa region, as a result of which energy facilities were damaged, and part of consumers in Odesa and the region was left without electricity.
