Jamala presented a musical encyclopedia of Crimea to Qatar: the largest project in the history of the two countries
On Sunday, a concert by Ukrainian singer Jamala took place at the Katara Opera House in Doha, where she presented works from her album “QIRIM”. This album is a true musical encyclopedia of Crimea, combining the ethnic heritage of the Crimean Tatar people with contemporary symphonic sound.
The concert turned out to be the largest cultural project in the history of relations between Ukraine and Qatar, as well as one of the largest performances by Ukrainian artists in the Gulf region. The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, government officials, and members of the Ukrainian community in Qatar.
The concert was organized jointly by the Ukrainian Institute, the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar, the Katara Cultural Foundation, the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, and the International Public Diplomacy Network. Photos by Nina Solovyeva.
During the concert, singer Jamala presented her best works from the album “QIRIM”, and the event became an important occasion for cultural cooperation between Ukraine and Qatar, expanding cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the countries.
